Nature is the undisputed queen with its multifaceted landscapes from the lush greenery, to the highest mountains and unique wildlife. So it is not known for its nightlife, but there are some bars and clubs for those who want to have fun at night, without great expectations and always having not in mind Mykonos nightlife. Sometimes, especially during the high season, there are some theme parties are organized on the most famous beaches of the island. Most of the nightlife is concentrated in Argostoli, the capital, with modern clubs and big discos to have fun all night with dance music and cocktails. Also in other places of the island (Sami, Skala, Fiscardo, Lixouri and Poros) there are bars and disco clubs to spend long nights. Discos and Nightclubs in Kefalonia Among the major clubs and discos of Kefalonia, the best place is the undisputed Bass Club. It's the most exciting and vibrant club in Kefalonia. Located in Argostoli (near the main square), it offers a true experience of nightlife. Traditional non-stop dance-music, both Greek and foreign, with guests, DJs and live music, in order to ensure that everyone has fun all night, all year round. The entertainment program increases the adrenaline and allows visitors to enjoy a real "dance overdose." Recently renovated and more luxurious than ever the Bass Club adds color to the after hours in Kefalonia and provides an overview of how people enjoy in Greece. Another famous nightclub in the center of Argostoli, is the Cinema Music Club, and as the name suggests it is obtained by the renovation of an old cinema, keeping the same seats and an old projector. The dance floor is large enough, and the club plays the usual music dance, house, hip-hop, remix, etc.. As one of the few nightclubs of Kefalonia, the Cinema Club has a nice atmosphere and anyone who wants to enjoy the evening and night until late must come here! North of the island, in the picturesque village of Fiskardo, there is a famous nightclub open every night during the summer, since 1995: the Kastro Club. It's a great club that once was an old mine, located in a cool area and surrounded by greenery, at just 500 meters from the port of Fiscardo. Built in stone on four levels following an amphitheater shape around the large central dance floor, the club covers an area of 700 square meters. with tables and chairs arranged under the palm trees. The musical program for summer fun includes a wide variety of genres, such as rock n 'roll, soul, pop, new wave, reggae, hip hop and greek hits. Do not miss the theme parties, organized every year and attracting many visitors: the "bras de fer" party, the party of the tropical night and Greek night are just a few memorable ones! The club or part of it is of course open to bookings for private parties with friends, to celebrate birthdays and other festive occasions. Bars in Kefalonia In addition to nightclubs and discos, Kefalonia and in particular its capital Argostoli, is dotted with modern cafes and bars, where entertaining for a drink before going to the disco. We suggest the Stavento Bar, on the beach front of Argostoli, with spectacular sea views, especially at sunset, populated by locals and tourists, which is a place to relax day and night. Just outside Argostoli, on the main road to Lassi, the So Simple is a lively bar suitable for all ages. You enter through an arch decorated with palms and exotic flowers, part outdoors, part indoors, the bar offers a tranquil setting offering seats to about 100 people. The music is played both by two huge plasma screens placed on the wall and tuned on Sky, and by a DJ who plays everything from classic 70s, to metal, rock, blues, reggae, hip-hop and rap. However, the music is not too loud to prevent the conversation, and is ideal to spend a pleasant and relaxing evening at reasonable prices and with excellent service. On the southern tip of the island, just on the beach of Skala, we find one of the best bars of Kefalonia: the Capitain's Bar. Open since 1987, the bar is renowned for its excellent service and warm atmosphere. Here you can relax in the evening sipping a refreshing cocktail or beers, staring at the sea, listening to music while chatting with friends - it is the ideal place to meet new people. Recently, the owners of the Capitain's Bar opened in front of it the new Capitain's Lounge. It is a new, exclusive lounge bar where you can celebrate in style your special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries). For a more unusual experience, you have to try the Zebra Bar in Skala. The bar is very nice and decorated with wooden furniture and bright lights. Here you can enjoy live music upstairs and have a party downstairs with a wild zebra dancing around (of course the zebra is someone in costume). Still to the south, on the beach of Poros, a very popular place is the Zanza Bar. The bar is famous for its excellent service and friendly atmosphere. It offers a wide selection of cocktails (more than 45), among the best on the island. If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy listening to good music, or try a couple of "brand-new" cocktails, the Zanza Bar is the perfect place!
